Oh boy!

Maritza is a bilingual Brooklyn-based writer and performer from California's San Joaquin Valley who performs at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She previously hosted Kaleidoscope at The Creek and The Cave, Lo Que Quieras: Un Show de Comedia en Español at The PIT, and Dying to Laugh, a podcast about death. She has been featured in videos for MTV, Fusion, Channel 101, CH2, and Clickhole, among others. Maritza studied improv, sketch, and characters at UCB Theatre, history and Spanish at New York University, and fiction under Zadie Smith and Junot Diaz. She is also a bookseller, sensitivity reader, and tremendously casual flautist.
